Item Description
The Place Vendome Limited Editions of S.T. Dupont was inspired by the Place Vendome, which was commissioned by King Louis XIV and now hosts shops owned by the most famous French jewellers.
This limited edition is decorated with added metal parts, sumptuous cornices, precious hematites and the subtle colour of grey lacquer, all set off by a luxurious palladium finish. Lighters echo the appearance of the buildings in the square. Napoleon’s famous quotation is engraved on the lighter's roller: "Impossible n’est pas français" (Nothing is impossible for the French).
This Limited Edition lighter is line 2 in size. It is brand new, comes with original presentation box, all the paperworks and a soft leather pouch.
This lighter has its own identity number out of the 1810, a reference to the date when Napoleon erected the Vendôme Column. The ID of the lighter will be disclosed for the winner of this auction.
